To prepare this hot drink recipe you will need a medium-size saucepan. Place the crushed coffee beans in a saucepan and cover them with the milk. Allow the mixture to heat to a simmer for about seven minutes and then remove from the heat and cover allowing the coffee beans to steep in the milk for about twenty minutes.
Uncover the saucepan, strain the coffee mixture, discard the coffee beans and pour the milk into a food blender. Add the honey, cinnamon sticks and cardamoms pods and blend the mixture thoroughly at high speed until the spices are ground coarsely; this should take approximately one minute.
Now you should strain the milk and return it to the saucepan, discarding the ground spices. Reheat the milk over medium-high heat until it is steaming and then add rum and your hot drink is ready to be served.

To make spiced warm cider you will need one half gallon of apple cider, two sticks of cinnamon, one third cup dark brown sugar, five whole allspice berries, eight slices of orange fruit, three whole cloves and a one thick chunk of raw fresh ginger peeled.
To prepare your spiced warm cider you will need a three quart saucepan. Place the sugar, spices and ginger in the saucepan and cover it with the apple cider. Heat the mixture to a simmer and allow it to cook for approximately thirty minutes. Serve and enjoy the result of your hot drink recipes.
